Training Your Taste Bud to Lose Weight
Researchers have come up with a new way for overweight people to shed off pounds. This is through taste bud retraining.
According to Australian researchers, overweight and obese individuals who regularly eat fatty foods are less able to taste the fat unlike others.
We are all aware that fat promotes a sense of fullness and if an individual is insensitive to fat, then the body will not send signals that it is already full and the individual should stop eating.
Researchers found out that switching to a low fat diet will help in taste bud retraining. A low fat diet will help people to become more sensitive when it comes to tasting fat. As a result, this would increase the sensitivity to fat, making people eat less and feel full faster.
However, the researchers also claimed that this is not just the only solution to fight off obesity. According to them, obesity is a cause of many factors and fat consumption is just one of them.
